The Bulimba District Historical Society, led by long-standing local and respected president Norman Love, is dedicated to sourcing, preserving, and sharing the rich history of Bulimba and its surrounding suburbs. Supported by a passionate team of community-minded members, the Society brings local stories to life through engaging presentations, research, and heritage projects. Meetings are held at the Bulimba Library on the first Tuesday morning and second Tuesday evening of each month from February to December. Annual individual membership is $25, with new members warmly welcomed.
